OVERVIEW

Hand-lettering is one of my favorite pastimes. There is something so personal about how we form letters by hand, and these forms carry nuance and can even evoke a mood. Each year, I make calendars for my friends and family by hand, all the way down to the numbering of each day of the year.

2020

For this 2020 calendar, I wanted to create a sense of simplicity and cheer reflected in the letter-forms and objects of each month in the likeness of a children’s illustrated book.
